First some good news for the Democrats.
Many of their vulnerable members are outraising their challengers. Some highlights for the Democrats include
- Doty over LeMieur $23,000 vs $17,600
- Ward over Pundt $24,200 vs $9,100
- Kalin over Taylor $16,500 vs $12,700

Now the good news for the Republicans
Some Democratic members appear to have called it quits early, pinning their hopes on a bailout from the party elders. Most obvious were..
- Lillestol over Olin $25,000 vs $13,1f00 with Lillestol having a 2-1 advantage cash on hand $18,200 vs $9,000
- Larsen over Brown $20,600 vs $14,800 with Larsen having a sizeable cash on hand advantage of $13,500 vs $7,300
- Davids over Tschumper $26,100 vs $9,700. Cash on hand is even more lobsided with $28,100 for Davids vs only $12,500 for Tschumper.

SURPRISES!
Who is this Laliberte guy in 54A? Where did he find almost $25,000 in GOP money?
The 3 candidates in 41A raised over $132,000. I guess Edina really is rich.
Why does the GOP endorsed candidate in 53A only have $4,500 in the bank?

EXCLUSIVE

Sources at the Capitol have informed us that a DFL candidate for the state legislature has been previously convicted of narcotics possession.

These sources also confirmed that the individual was arrested on 2 different days in possessions of narcotics. The individual apparently has plead guilty to these charges.

WARNING: We have not seen the arrest paperwork but trust our sources. Therefore we are not naming the candidate until those files have been seen.
